If you want to feel good about yourself, I have the perfect suggestion for you this week. They are running episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy from New York City. With the softball questions that Alex Trebek lobs, you would think he was a member of the White House press corps.
The really funny thing about celebrity jeopardy is that the celebrities usually have the knowledge of your average tree stump. I have watched both of the episodes this week, and I have to admit the celebrities have been doing pretty well. They are no Ken Jennings, but they have not been embarrassing themselves.
This afternoon, Boston Red Sox pitcher and ALS advocate Curt Schilling was on the show. Even though he didn’t win (he didn’t know which food is the “San Francisco” treat), He did win $25000, half of which will benefit ALS. It is so great to see people use their influence, whatever it is, to raise money and awareness for ALS. It makes fighting on easier to do.
If you are like me, when you hear celebrity jeopardy, you think Saturday Night Live. Here are some of my favorites.
Watch them quickly before YouTube takes them down.
